The Chicago Park District and Variety of Illinois continues their support of the development of the Paralympic sport of boccia with competitions in the fall and in the spring. The fall tournament will feature individual match play for players attempting to prepare for state and national games. These players who are classified for the sport generally have Cerebral Palsy or some other neurological condition that limits their loco motor function. We will also offer play for recreational players who may not be classifiable, but who enjoy the sport of boccia.

We’re in need of volunteers to help with a boccia tournament for people with physical disabilities this Saturday, November-see details below. If you or someone you know or if there a group you know of have a couple hours to help it would be greatly appreciated!!! Everyone will receive a t-shirt and breakfast, lunch or both depending on the time you can help.
