Ubiquitous Death
A group show that explores a contemporary perspective of this tradition. Installation, painting, and photography will expose how Toronto artists relates to death.

Day of the Dead (EL Dia de los Muertos) on November 2nd is an ancient celebration from Mexico and some South American countries. Here in Canada people have been more and more exposed to this celebration, which focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.
Traditions include building altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed.
