WGBH receives eight Boston/New England Emmy nominations
WGBH was honored with eight Boston/New England Emmy nominations when the Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced its 32nd Boston/New England Emmy Nominations on Tuesday.
WGBH’s series Basic Black, Greater Boston, and María Hinojosa: One-on-One all were honored with nominations, including one for Greater Boston reporter Jared Bowen in the category of News Specialty Report Arts/Entertainment. Basic Black, Greater Boston and María Hinojosa: One-on-One were recognized in the “Interview/Discussion Program” category, while María Hinojosa earned a nomination in the “On-Camera Talent Program-Host/Moderator” category. Additionally, the WGBH Lab earned two nominations for its work in different categories related to Advanced Media.
The Emmy Awards Gala will be held on May 30th at the Marriott Copley Place. NATAS Boston/New England Chapter is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television, the fostering of creative leadership in the television industry, and the encouragement of excellence in artistic, educational, cultural and technical progress.
