Managed by both Miller Catering & Concessions, Inc. & JAK Concessions
Founded in 1983 by Howard and Nancy Miller
Porky’s is a clean professional mobile food service business that travels throughout the US participating in fairs, festivals and street corner operations. Porky’s is based in Lafayette, Indiana and includes such annual events as State Fair of Virginia, South Florida Fair, Sturgis Harley Rally and Daytona’s Bike Week.
Porky’s BBQ is proud to operate a first class slow smoked BBQ operation with menu items including some of these fine foods: Texas Beef Brisket, 1 1/2” Thick Pork Chops, Fresh Smoked Jumbo Turkey Legs, Rib Tips, Rotisserie Chicken, Stuffed Baked Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes. All food is smoked in Southern Pride BBQ pits. The bbq pits are all housed as near to the stand as possible so that your patrons can enjoy the experience of smelling the food as it is smoked.
Howard Miller is the current president of the National BBQ Association (NBBQA) and the entire Porky’s crew if very proud of their products and their accomplishments within the BBQ field.
Porky’s Grill is a grilled and fried food operation that serves their original Cajun catfish, ribeye steak sandwiches, fried green beans, an extensive kid’s meal program, breaded tenderloins etc. All items are prepared when ordered so customers always receive top quality products.
Porky’s Filling Station is a drink station that serves frozen coffee drinks, fresh brewed iced tea, and unique fruit slushes with Red Bull energy drink .
Porky’s Fried Soda Pop has taken the ‘Fried Coke’ concept and expanded it to include all flavors of soda (Orange, Root Beer, Cola, Cherry etc) to meet the taste of more consumers. The Soda Pop stand can be transformed for either Coca Cola products or Pepsi depending on which soft drink has rights at your fair. The ‘pies’ are then served plain or ala mode.
Fairgoers around the country have expressed that they come to their respective fair just to eat at the Porky’s tents. Excellent food, courteous staff, and a pleasant atmosphere help ensure that everyone involved enjoy their time with us.
