Médoc is home to a production of wines that boasts a diverse blending of varietal grapes that rings true to the adage, "a good wine is made from only good grapes". From the hands of talented craftspersons of the vine, a truly remarkable assemblage of grapes ensues after years of experience, love, attention to detail, a...nd care on and off the vineyard. This fair is no exception as we see the likes of Margaux, Médoc, Saint-Julien, Saint-Estèphe, Moulis-en-Médoc, Pauillac, Haut-Médoc and Listrac-Médoc strut their wines to win us over with style, some of which descend from the five families of Crus starting from: Grand Crus Classés of 1855, the Crus Bourgeois, the Crus Artisans, the Cooperatives, and other Growths.

Perched in the northeastern corner of France, Alsace is famous for her aromatic wines, beautiful scenery and cultural heritage. It is proud of its magnificent wine-making heritage as the region has been enjoying the typical “good-for-wine growing” climate with the least rainfall throughout the country.
Unlike wines from... other regions of France, where the names are based on the town or village of origin or the château where they are produced, Alsace wines derive their names from the varieties of grape used in their production. Alsace wines are made from only seven AOC grape varieties: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat d'Alsace, Tokay Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir. Moreover, all must be bottled in their places of origin with the unique long-neck bottles.
The event promises to bring more surprises for this summer! All major local Alsace wine importers will be there to ensure that all attending will have an excellent opportunity to taste all the wonderful Alsace wines in town. The admission fee will be just HK$150, which will include a redeemable HK$70 Cash Coupon for use on any on-site purchase. Moreover, each wine purchase will entitle the buyer to a Lucky Draw coupon, offering one and all the opportunity to win bottles of Alsace Wine or other delightful prizes.
