A beautiful and relaxing experience. The most generous and friendly hosts, and so much excellent foo...d! Our host could not do enough for us from driving to and from the Yunohira station each day so we could visit Yufuin which is an interesting historic township and to Oita to watch the RWC. The rooms are immaculately clean and the 4 private onsen baths are delightful. Highly recommended by two Aussie travellers who will never forget the wonderful warm family who run this ryokan. Wonderful experience with Yamashiroya (山城日式旅館) during our visit to Yunohira onsen this Nov. It’s a v...ery traditional Japanese Hot spring hotel. The owner there is passionate about the warm-hearted service. It was a great meal for dinner. Very good hot spring with privacy. Make us stay there with unexpected joy!
